Rodger L. Peck,  District Superintendent

Rodger Peck serves as the District Superintendent. He is responsible for leading the District and building healthy leaders who multiply healthy churches through the power and love of Christ. Rodger received his BA from Vennard College and has worked on his Masters of Ministry from Bethel College. He served in the Missionary Church prior to joining the MidAmerica District Executive Staff in March of 2006. He served as Pastor at Niles Missionary Church in Michigan (1985-1989), Assistant to the District Superintendent and Interim District Superintendent for the Missionary Church (1989-1994), and planted a church for them in St. Louis, Missouri (2001-2004). He did church consulting for multiple denominations (1994-2004) and served as Vice President of Advancement at Vennard College (2004-2006) before restarting Crosswinds Community Church in St. Charles, Missouri, for the MidAmerica District. Rodger served as the Church Health and Multiplication Director for the MidAmerica District from 2007 until being elected as the DS in March 2010. Rodger is married to Charlene and they have 2 sons: Adam (wife-Sarah) and Andrew (wife-Ashlee) and 1 very special granddaughter, Jocelyn.



David L. Gilmore, Assistant to the District Superintendent

David Gilmore serves as the Assistant to the District Superintendent. He is responsible for overseeing church planting and developing churches in the District as well as the Thriving Church Networks (TCNs) and Missions Mobilization. David received his BA in Bible Theology from Crown College in Minnesota.  He has been licensed with the C&MA for over 24 years and was ordained in the Southwestern District in 1989. He served as the Assistant Pastor for Parkway Fellowship in Houston, Texas, (1986-1988, and 1992-1994) and Pastor of Alliance Bible Church in Ft. Worth, Texas (1988-1991). He then served as pastor of Wausau Alliance Church in Wausau, Wisconsin (1994-2001).  He moved back to Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2001 and God gave him a one year assignment as the Deputy State Treasurer for the state of Nebraska.  He then served two years on staff at First Evangelical Free Church in Lincoln as the pastor of discipleship before planting MiddleCross Church in Lincoln, Nebraska, in 2004.  He served as the pastor of MiddleCross Church until his appointment to the MidAmerica District Office in April of 2010.  David is married to Tami and they have 3 grown children: Matthew, Megan, and Michael.



Lance Ford, Director of Missional Strategies   svlance@gmail.com

Lance is the co-founder and Director of Christianity Today's Shapevine.com, and the former Director of the Northwood Church Multiplication Center. With over 20 years of experience as a pastor and church planter, Lance is a writer, coach, and consultant who has designed unique training systems currently being used by networks, seminaries, and leaders throughout the world. Lance and his wife will be relocating to Kansas City very soon to begin establishing a network of missional communities. His passion is to give himself to resourcing and equipping churches and leaders anywhere and everywhere as they develop missional lifestyles. Lance holds a Masters Degree in Global Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary and is an adjunct professor at Biblical Seminary, Hatfield ,PA. His book, Right Here Right Now: Everyday Mission for Everyday People, co-authored with Alan Hirsch, releases by Baker Books, January 2011. He has a second book, First Followers, co-authored with Leonard Sweet, to be released by Thomas Nelson Publishers in the fall of 2011.



Kathy Herbranson, Administrative Assistant  Kathy@thrivenet.org

Kathy Herbranson serves as the Administrative Assistant for David Gilmore, Assistant to the District Superintendent.  She works closely with matters related to Official Workers and the License, Ordination and Consecration Committee.  Kathy has been with the MidAmerica District since November of 2004.  She has been married to Mike for 36 years and has 3 grown daughters and 5 grandkids.

Robin Drvol, Administrative Assistant  Robin@thrivenet.org

Robin Drvol serves as Administrative Assistant for Rodger Peck. She works closely with the District Executive Committee (DEXCOM), the TCN Coordinators.  Robin has a BA in Home Economics from the University of Nebraska. She has been with the MidAmerica District since May 2006. She is married to Scott and they have 3 children: Corey, Kristen, and Ryan.

Jane Samson, Accountant  Jane@thrivenet.org

Jane Samson serves as the Accountant for the District.  She is responsible for all financial related matters, receipts, disbursements, payroll, and financial statements and is a CPA. She holds a Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting from Baylor University. She has been with the MidAmerica District since August of 2004. Jane is married to Reed and they have 3 daughters: Brooke, Kelly, and Katie.

Matt Paddack, Director of Media Services 

Matt Paddack serves as the Director of Media Services. He is responsible for Web Development, Office IT matters, and District Media which involves videos, brochure designs, formatting of newsletters, logo designs, and electronic registration forms. He worked with the MidAmerica District from 2005 to 2008 before opening his own photography business. He returned to the District in April of 2010 on a part time basis. He is married to Holly and they have 3 boys: Caleb, Corbin, and Carson.
